Launch Remote application

Hi Every one

I have to develope a webpart in Share point server 2010 which launches remote machine applicatons. Please send me some examples using which I can develope this webpart. I dont have any idea even how to start this project. you can send me examples in ASP.net it is no problem at all.

Solution 1

It's a VERY bad idea to launch applications on a remote machine. First off, it's a huge security risk. Second, you cannot do it without external tools. And lastly, the server would need admin rights to every machine it's going to launch an app on, which it should NEVER have!
