Hello,
I am student of Electronics Engineering.
I am working on a project "IOT-Based Home automation":
First,
In which i have to turn on Home appliances like Lights, Fans, T.V etc.. from a web site. This website will send on-off command to my "Arduino" whihc is connected to Internet.
2nd,
This web site will also receive data "Sensors output" like temperature/humidity sensor from Arduino and display it on website.
Can anyone help me to complete this task. I am good in Arduino but not in web develpoing.
What I have to do ?
Enlighten me with basic steps to accomplish this task ?
I will be very thankful.

What I have tried:

I had turned on-off Lights using HTML page on same network. But now I have to achieve this task world widely. Like my server is on Network 1 and client could be on different Network 2.

You need to publish your website so that it can be accessed from any place.
