I have a Dell4540s laptop. I hate the keyboard so I plug a usb keyboard in. I believe the latest Windows10 update has caused the usb keyboard to stop working after boot-up. my Logitech wireless mouse continues to work fine. My keyboard works fine on a cold boot as I can press esc key and get to dell bios settings. However, once OS loads the usb keyboard goes dead. The desktop keyboard still works but is a real pain to use. Any suggestions?

What I have tried:

a number of different usb keyboards and they all act the same way.

I have had trouble (non Win 10) in that the OS has to find the keyboard and mouse in a particular order -- I always think of it as the keyboard before the mouse.
Try connecting the devices in a different order?

Try a different USB port. Try booting into safe mode. Try unplugging other things. And then try posting to a technical support forum since this forum is for problems with code you have written and so not a place for tech support questions.
