How to make startup page on server

I have uploaded my asp.net website on server.
Domain name is www.softgenindia.com but when I type it in internet explorer nothing is shown. I want Index.aspx to be my startup page.

How can I do that...

Your hosting company will have admin pages or control panel that allow you to define the startup page. Ask them they will make it for you.

Solution 1

Hi You can set via inetmgr command
press Altr + R
type inetmgr
right click on your virtual directory
Properties
select Documents tab
select default page (that you want to)
press Ok

i can;t understand where to press Ctr + R.
if i am pressing it on my web server space nothing is happening.

He just wants you to set the default page for your website so that whenever you type the URL of the website without specifying any page the IIS knows which page to load.
There are many ways in which the default page can be set for a website.
In case you have a dedicated server for hosting your site, you can follow the procedure specified above by Imdadhusen.
In case you are using a shared server you can find the default page settings somewhere in the control manager page provided by the hosting company.
