How do I display data on LED board

Hi,

i have a task which requires me to display data on a LED board.
The data will come from SQL.
i would like guidance on where to start? could i use specific software or visual studio?
using serial?

What I have tried:

i have tried using software but the data is manipulated by what you type i need the data to display from SQL so its basically live

We can't help you: we have no idea how you talk to your LED board (or even who makes it!)

You should talk to the people who created it - they should provide technical support and will know more about their product than we will. If they don't, then find another supplier and demand your money back!
