In my application string length 10,563 for calling service for inserting data this gives an communication error when calling service in silverlight3 + vb

Well, though your question is not entirely clear but I can tell you this for sure that a valid URL can have a max length of 1024 only.

If you have a URL length more than that (i.e., passing a query string long enough), it would not work. You need to pass those values as form headers instead (POST method)
