Hello, this is Vikas Gohil.

We have developed an intranet based web application using 2.0, VB.Net 2.0 Codebehind, MSSQL Server and Ajax Control Toolkit.

We have successfully deployed the application under IIS on Windows 2003 Server.

Now we are planning to deploy the same on a Linux Server. I have searched the net and found that a Combination of Apache and mod mono is required for hosting the application.

I just want some articles or guidelines related to hosting on Linux server. Any one who has successfully done this, can you help me please.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance.

Awaiting a reply soon.

I wanted to use ASP.NET based on mod_mono too, still did not try (but unlike you, I don't do big Web development). All the software and information is available, but... There is too little information on the Web about practical experience of developing of sites, as well as offer for hosting -- surprisingly.

You can refer these links for that...
but I think Linux server is not good for hosting an site... It does not support ASP.NET and also Access DataBase.
see the table at end of this link ::
