how to get configurationmanager class name

hi all,

i'm trying to connect database through ConfigurationManager section,but while writing the code this class name is not appearing in the menu bar .so please help me,should i add any library to reference.

Solution 1

Ummmm - the ConfigurationManager object isn't for connecting to a database. There are a series of SQL objects that you're supposed to use:

SQLConnection
SQLCommand
SQLParameters

to name just a few...

I lives in the namespace System.Configuration.
The assembly reference is System.Configuration.
