Compatibilty issue regarding E8

IE 7.0/FireFox 3.5 : Displays the selected item in the listbox even when the listbox is in disabled mode.
IE 8: Not shown selected item when the listbox is in disabled mode but when list box is enabled it show the selected item.

I have search a lot but couldn't find any solution.

If you have any idea regarding this issue please help me.

Solution 1

It appears this is a bug that has been reported to Microsoft 3 years ago.

IE8 Bug[^]

Luckily, someone was able to do a workaround for this.

No i am not told about Workaround. I am talking about IE8 Bug[^].This link working but the link of microft website which is given inside this is not working on my side.

The solution given in workaround link is not working. That's why i am posting this question again and again becuse i did't find any solution regardig this. I need an urgent Solution. Please help me out.

You dont posts the same question here again and again. If your question was not answered, then wait. If it was but still you're not satisfied, we can't do anything about that. In your case, I posted a link which was from a person who claims to had his workaround. According to him, it was working. Your'e job now is to make his workaround work on your end. If it still doesn't work, then post the details on why it wasn't working, instead of just telling that its not working.
