Everybody!
I am writing the program realing the LZW algorithm with Verilog HDL. Codevalue, precode and appendcode are storeged in the dicitonary.But now,I have a problem, which is what is the codevalue.
Somebody can help me ? Thanks very much!!

Not clear what's your problem. At least reference the code of the implementation you're using. Why forcing experts to find everything and do guesswork?

The explanation of the algorithm in the TIFF specification is pretty good:
