Hello,

I installed Sql Server 2005 in windows 7. I am unable to connect to local sql server. I am able to get connected to sql on server. I didnt see any sql services running in my system. I searched in configurationmanager-> SQl Server 2005 Services. Its not showing any services.Any thing need to do to make this work?

Any error message? I think you missed something during installation.

BTW I'm using SQL server 2005 in Windows 7.

No error message is there.... while connecting it showing "cannot connect to server".. But im able to access database which is located at server.its not showing any services in configuration manager.All are installed well.

Windows 7 supports SQL Server 2008 or higher versions. Try with SQL Server 2008.
