I would like to run a c# application on red hat linux. Do I need to install dot-net on my linux server?

If it's Mono and proper subset of the libraries is used, the success is pretty sure.
Well, not less sure then success in running application on .NET for Windows.

No, it doesn't. And it's looking like it never will since Attachmate bought Novell and promptly fired the entire Mono Development group. There is no word if they are reconstituting a similar to resume Mono development.

You will need to install Mono[^] first, I think.
