Googles protobuf-net for WPF applications

I am looking into some serializations stuffs with protobuf-net .. i am having shared classes, as same class is being used in WPF as well as in Silverlight applications ..

I have refereed the following code project link for silverlight

but In the above link they have explained only about the Silverlight application. The same protobuf dll is not applicable for WPF applications, is any one having idea about using protobuf in WPF application ... or from where should i get the open source codefor protobuf so that i can at least try modify it according to my requirements
