Adding ASP Button's in E-mail body and writing the event for it

Hi All,

how do we add an asp.net button to email body.my requirement is to add two buttons in email body of outlook and to execute some piece of code when user clicks on each button.

how to create the button? and write the click events for it?

Solution 1

Your requirement is bollocks. You can't run code-behind from an email. What you can do is create a link in your email which then opens a browser and takes the user there if they click on it. At that point code-behind can be executed.

ya what i did right now was that.i placed a link button of the site and it takes the user to the site and from there onwards the thing happens in the app.instead of doing that i wanted to do the thing in the email itself by the click of the button
