I am using IE8 and have an aspx page with a close button. Close button onclick closes the window with javascript window.close(). The button works fine until i do page print preview. After i do print preview Javascript windo.close() just does not work

@Ankur that is worth trying workaround , if those thing worked prior IE versions. I understand that was for page view (all those styling etc..),
I don't know the exact reason why it didn't work.

Thank you for replying. You are right in what you said, but this is not an styling issue and for such issues one expects better behaviour in newer versions of the browser.
AFAIK, the same issue is with IE7 as well.
