Pray tell us what aspect of your audio signal you want to display in your histogram! There are two that spring to mind from the start: Frequency and volume level

That alone isn't enough though as we still ned to know what the ranges are. Need more information.

It is bar chart not histogram. Very interesting things can be found on Codeproject.com. This Personal Wave Recorder has a frequency visualizer that you probably looking for.
