i just created an account in GA and get the javascript which is given by google,that js i have pasted into my ebsite master page.Is this process is enough to get the result or anything else to do?

Solution 1

To have Google Analytics data, you just need to make sure that all pages of your website contains javascript.. best practice to put javascript is in body section before tag.

This is wrong, best practice is to put it at the end of the page just before the closing body tag (</body>). This will speed up the loading of your page. If you are using a master page just put it at the bottom of your Master Page.
