I'm creating a login page in windows form using As usual two labels, two textboxes for username and password. two buttons for login and cancel
Have done with design level, I want to create a table in database for this login, what are the basic field I should include in that table for the Login function like username, password, roles, etc

1 solution

Applications usually vary but here is what I am putting on my UserInfo table.
Password -- this should be at least hashed on the application side
RoleID -- a foreign key to the roles table

There might be instances where you want to separate the user info to another table and your username and password to another table.
