Hi,

i have a 2.6 years of experience in DOT Net platform in both Winows and Web application development.

At present i got a chance to change a platform. In my office they going to start a new project using Java platform.

They asking me whether i shall accept that chance or not.

Whether platform changes will cause an effect in career??

Just accept it, learning a new language is always a good thing (With exception of vb6 and bellow).
Trust me, Java is easy. I'm currently working on a project using both C# and Java (It's a ship monitoring application used in harbors)
Java's syntax is not much different from C# since they have the same ancestor. Hence, if you understand OOP then you'll be able to write Java program right away. There's so much tutorials in the internet. If you have any difficulty, you can always post a question here.

Don't use txtspk; you have a full keyboard (including a spacebar) so please use it.

I approve. Properly written text is easier to search in Google and also works better with translation into other language.
