Difference bet. CustomValidator and UserValidator

Hello, I want to know the differnce between the custom validator control and user validator.
Means - As we can write our code in customvalidator and check page.IsValid in the same way we can do that using labels.

so what is the difference between the two and which is preferable

You don't need to provide multiple solution for different url. You can just update first one.
