Add shortcut for all users.

I am using VS2010 setup project. You know when you install a program under admin some of them show up on other user accounts, that is what I would like to add to my project - currently mine does not. I have not been successful in searches so here I am. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it is possible with VS setup project.

I think while installation your setup wizard gives you option for selection of program installation for Everyone of Just Me. Is this thing you want?

Solution 1

You need to register it (in the Registry of course) under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE tag for all users.
