Webkit build mistake

hi to all
i am trying to build webkit , but while runnig update-script i have this error :

svn: OPTIONS of 'http://svn.webkit.org/repository/webkit/trunk': Could not resolve hostname `svn.webkit.org': Temporary failure in name resolution (http://svn.webkit.org)

what should i do ?

Solution 1

Search the build script and find the "svn.webkit.org" line and comment it out so your build will work.

thanks a lot . but if i do not update my code tree i can not build the webkit

Find out why you cannot reach this site, I just tried in my browser and it gets it OK.

your comment gave me a good solution . i think it should work . i try to open this address : http://svn.webkit.org/repository/webkit/trunk using my browser without proxy and i could not but using vpn i could open it . so i think i should set proxy for my system and then run this script . thanks a lot . i will try and report the answer back
