How To Use Component One Flex Grid in Vb.net

Hello,
I am using Component one flex gid in my project,i have attached a datatable to the flexgrid by datasource property, now i am trying to do some operation like

1.Hiding A Column which contains values(like ID)
2.Getting Value of a perticular cell of selected row

How to do this
Please Help

ComponentOne has a very good help system and sample application source code, I suggest you look at those samples first.
