Solution 1

You can do it - but it is a very bad idea. It can leave orphans and really mess things up. If you have to though, then there is a discussion on how to (and the penalties you will pay for doing so) here: http://www.sqlmonster.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/sql-server-programming/46106/Cascade-Delete[^]
