how do i refresh a safari browser cache using javascript

Hi....

I am doing a an application in html5 in safari, and i am storing image link using local storage,which i have drawn in my application. This images will be there in the browser cache and each time when i save the images i want to refresh the cache so that i can retrieve the updated ones.
