Timeout Expired Error

Hi!

While running my .net application, Sometimes I will get the following error but sometimes the application runs smoothly.

Error Occured: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to the completion of the  operation or the server is not responding.
The statement has been terminated.

How to fix it?

Please help me
