I've got a confession to make! I've been trying to avoid IIS for a long, long time but now, I find myself in a position to really put it through its paces.

Unfortunately, the screenshots that you have on the website, do NOT even resemble the 'inetmgr' that I'm looking at. It's looks like you may have had an earlier version, say like for XP, and the two don't coincide at all!

Usually I can just take some of the menu items that are listed, and try to match them up with what I have. But I don't want to make a mess of things, especially things that I'm not that familiar with. I'm wondering if you have an updated version of this site, somewhere, so that, at least, the screenshots will match this latest version????

THANKS

This doesn't make much sense the Code Project is not a site about IIS, it may contain articles about IIS, like it does about C#, Software design, Multi threading, best practises, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF and much much more.

You may be referencing a perticular article, in which case you should post your question there. At the bottom of the article page there is a discussion where you can post your question.

Just to prove that there are articles on CP that involves IIS 7 here is one such article: Deploying ASP.NET Websites on IIS 7.0 [^]
