I need to transfer a file from one server to another server using http protocol in java. Can any body suggest me how to do that?

That has never been done by mankind.

Serious? is Google down? type "Java File HTTP Transfer" and click "I feel lucky" - I bet this works...

Edit: Yeap, tried it and it works.
