Makes no sense. This is ASP.NET application, so client part already runs some browser. Why detecting default browser then? If you already running a browser and need to print something without showing any windows (without additional browser window?) why do you need a browser?

Maybe you means "default printer" or something else, not what you actually posted. If so, please use "Improve question" and explain what you want to achieve accurately.
