how to hide checkboxes in listview control

does any body knows , how to hide or remove checkboxes of particular items in list view control...?
if any body knows pls let me know..

Is this WinForms ? WPF ? Have you had any experience making custom UserControls ? Have you looked through the many examples of extended ListView controls here on CP to see if there is one that might support custom insertion of CheckBoxes on a per row basis: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/list/#ListView+controls
