how to know if application is .net version

i need to know if this is application is created on microsoft .net or not
second i need to know in what version of .net it depend
some of you why this strange question
but it's long story i can't explain
but i need any help
with regards

Solution 1

Try to run Exe on a machine where none of frameworks are installed. It will show error message asking for .net framework version to be installer . This will work only .net Framework is added as pre-requisite while creating EXE.
