Services won't start

I appreciate very much the larce category of information sources but still please
if possibly, tell me what i should do if, trying start Web Deployment Agent Service , allways i receive the error message

" Could not start the Web Deployment Agent service on Local Computer.

  Error  0x80131500: 0x80131500

              OK   "

I suspect tis as being responsible for some malfonctionning C++ applications.

Not much to go on but if you suspect a failing app, have you tried the application dependency walker (depends.exe) to see if something is just not in place?

Hi,

You can follow the procedure in the following article to change the service's port

In this way , we can isolate this issue. Please also check the event viewer to see the reason why IIS cannot start.

In addition, I'd suggest you that uninstall We deployment tool, then reinstall it by using We Platform Installer.
