hi all i have created application in .net mobile application, i want to create setup file, so i created CAB setup file also,but i am about to install,its showing installation unsuccessful,so what format i should want to create for mobile application

Solution 1

Windows Phone would be using a xap file, so AFAIK, just deploying the xap file would be enough.
However, have a look at the How to: Use the Application Deployment Tool for Windows Phone[^] guide.

For older versions phone applications (created using VS2005), you can look at this article[^].
