i ve embedded a xnamed project to a y named project. so in y named project if i make any changes in x project. it affects the original x project.how can i prevent it.and what are the steps that i ve to take.
help me out

Separate the projects. How do you expect to make changes to something but leave it unchanged?

Of course! This is yet another incorrect question. Maybe OP is unaware of referencing one assembly by another one, but in this case, why doing any programming at all? Needs to learn basics first.

Hi,

if you are using class project as your X named project then you can extend those classes and override behavior.

that is the only way it seems on first look,

Maybe your guess is correct, even though OP does not make any mention of classes.
