Displaying database Records in a form by using Search btn

hi,

i created a form with many controls and connected it with database. its working properly.In another form i have a dropdown(contains the column f the table) and a btn search

now i would like to display the particular records in the form by clicking the search button

what are you displaying in the dropdown.
With which parameter(ID or some NAME) you want to search the database.

sory i have a text box also to enter the value for that dropdown item after that button click it must display the details regarding that value...

Solution 2

in the dropdown i included all the column names of the table

by selecting anyone from that dropdown and after the button click
we should get the entire details regarding that column name..
