Hello all,

I've been trying to access a shared folder from my Windows 7 laptop in a computer with XP professional SP2.

I'm using a crossover cable.
I can remotely connect to the computer using REALVNC (the cable works).

I see that the C drive is shared, with EVERYONE and FULL CONTROL.
Firewall is disabled.
All the protocols are active even NETBIOS (I've seen taht somebody out there asked for that).

And after all those things I still can't get into that folder...

Any idea on what should I modify in the XP computer in order to allow my laptop to access the shared network?

Thank you in advance...

Are they in the same workgroup? For more on that and more, check here:
