Ajax Modalpopup Extender

hi every body,

when i am using modalpopupextender popupcontrolid in server side,
i got the script error
"this._foregroundElement.parentNode.appendChild(this._backgroundElement);"

if i am not using the panel in server side that time button click event not fired. here button is target controlid in modalpopup extender...
