Probably, yes. Somewhere.

We do not do your homework: it is set for a reason. It is there so that you think about what you have been told, and try to understand it. It is also there so that your tutor can identify areas where you are weak, and focus more attention on remedial action.

Actually I doubt this is homework.

I do not know of this algorithm, but I'm somewhat familiar with the problem space (scheduling), and know it's been tackled mostly with both heuristic methods and GAs. A quick search revealed this algorithm (or at least the name) is rather new (oldest reference I've seen was from 2003), and therefore wouldn't be featured in some 'homework'.

I know what you mean - but the question reads like a nebulous "I have an essay to do and I don't feel like doing it" type one. There is nothing there that makes me think there is a specific project involved, just generic research.
