iam triing to create new localhost connection but always got this error:

SQL

status failure test failed io exception the network adapter could not establish the connection

my userName:Hibernate == password
port=1251
hostname=127.0.0.1
SID=orcl
so what is happening and how i solved it

Solution 1

Hi Hamzah1,
Your port number was wrong. For Oracle connection you should connect with the port=1521. Hope this will help you.
