Hi, All
I have used this link to generate my rdlc report dynamically at runtime, but i received the following error message in my report viewer when i ran it :

a data source instance has not been supplied for the data source 'EquipDS'.

Note :
I have set 'EquipDS' instead of dataSetName parameter and 'EquipDataSet' for DataSourceName property.

what is my mistake???

Hi Phoenix.

Is your requirement to dynamically create the report itself or just the loading of the report needs to be dynamic?

If the answer is yes to the above then you can design the report at design time and load it into the report viewer at runtime and then bind a normal dataset (i.e. built from SQL or XML file).

I have found my mistake...
The dataSetName parameter and DataSourceName property should be the same.
