Validation through jquery

I have 10 fields textbox like firstname,lastname,email,password etc.
I have to make validation on it. i want required field occur on submit buttion that i have done with made one function for required field validation.
Now i want required field validation occur when i leave on textbox means blur method.
bt i dont understand how i used 10 blur method in one function..
Please help me...urgent..

I dont want to use any plugging for this..i want to do through coding..
