Connecting asp.net with oracle 9i

hi I am trying to developed one web application using asp.net and oracle 9i. Oracle 9i is in server and vs2008 is installed in mine computer. I would like to Connect it through mine application. Is it necessary to install oracle in mine computer. I am using os window 7.
what will i have to do ??

Solution 2

No you don't need to install oracle database server in your computer, as SA said you just need to have Oracle client to connect to oracle database server. Try this for connection:
