display an image in aspx page

i want to display a loding.gif image after a button click and automatically the image should hide after the button click process...

using only jquery

give mw some ideas!!!

Not clear. It means it's never shown. Just think about it. Do you mean, after some delay? It's simple, you can easily find a way by yourself.
