dropdownlist.SelectedValue = ds.Tables[0].Rows[0].ItemArray[1].ToString();

what is the meaning of ds.tables[0],row[0]
and i have i error is " There is no row at position 0."
what this error meaning

What do YOU think that means? I think it's pretty clear. Your table, referenced by index 0, is empty.
