How to open file directory after selecting the item from drop down list

Hai to all,

I have one file upload control and drop down list control.After selecting the item from drop down and click on file upload it will go the respective directory for the selected drop down value.How can I dop this.Is it possible by using javascript?
Please give me the idea.
