to create line with arrow marks at two ends

In my project user will enter the length.According to the length the new line is created.My problem is how to denote that line length using separate line with arrow marks at two ends...

If you can draw a line at all, what's the problems with the marker? A marker in no more than a combination of lines, or other objects such as triangle...
