Upgrading my project to higher version Framework

Hi all,

I have developer a project in .net 3.5 framework which contains many project in that so now i need to upgrade my project to a higher version of .net framework 4.0 should i do any changes Besides changing my framework in the project property. please let me know the clear picture of the process that i should follow.

If you are having VS2008, it wont support .net 4.0. You have to go for VS2010
