Web Research with a Web crawler

Hi,

I need to collect the URLs and URL of the company logos for a large list of companies which are listed in an Excel file.

Can I use a web crawler to automate this?
any help would be greatly appreciated. I really need to figure this out immediately.

Of course you can, but what's your problem? Are you looking for a suitable Web crawler (and then this question would be in fact off-topic), or would you want to develop one, but then, what's the problem?

HTTrack is a very good Website copier. Works pretty good. Have been using it for a long time. Ref: http://www.httrack.com/[^]

Nutch is a web crawler which uses a top notch search utility lucene. Ref: http://nutch.apache.org/[^]
