As i clicked on mozilla firefox the visul studio screen in opning insted off that browser

Hi all,

This is very strange and new problem for me,

I found that as i clicked on mozilla/picasa/games/notepad... etc the visul studio screen in opning insted off that browser and all....

and showing the some package problem.

Worst thing is that in visual studio i start debug than the mozilla gets open and as i stop debug than mozilla gets close...

Please give ur solution asap to get outof this .

If sounds like you have somehow corrupted the file extensions / applications linkages.

Try an experiment: Hold down the Windows key, and press "E" - this should open Windows Explorer.
Browse to a text file (that should open with Notepad) and right click it.
From the context menu, select "Open with...Choose default program..."
What is the default currently set to?
Uncheck the "Always use..." checkbox, and select Notepad. Does it open correctly? If it does, repeat it, but make sure the "Always use..." checkbox is ticked. Now double click the file - does it open correctly?

If you have corrupted the linkages, it may be easiest to restore your registry to an earlier, working state.
