updating gridview according to the item changed in dropdownlist

Hello friends,
I need some help on gridviews.
i have a table as:
no name attendence
1 A Present
2 B Absent
3 c Absent
4 D Absent ....... like this

i've to show this data in gridview along with this i've to put a dropdownlist to update the table dynamically. I've to put a dropdownlist for each row and after selecting the list the table should be updated.
The dropdownlist for the attendence.

Please anyone help me for this.
